Mission Statement
Special Madrasahs believe everyone should be included when learning about Islam. We strive to make this possible by providing resources and making them easy to teach to those with different learning needs and styles. Our message is simple and that is, 'no one should be left behind'. We are ready to teach those ready to learn.

We aim to provide resources in the following areas:

-
Deaf Inclusion- Posters, flashcards and videos with BSL guidance

-
Blind Inclusion- Posters, flashcards and activities with Braille guidance

-
SEND Inclusion- Curriculums made with resources that are engaging and interactive for children who struggle with traditional madrasah resources.

-
Youth Inclusion- Workshops at Schools and Madrasahs bridging the understanding of Islam and Identity

-
Community Inclusion- Inclusion Packs for non Muslim organisations wanting to provide holistic well being to those in their care

The above hadith is motivates Special Madrasahs with our mission.

Younis's First Day at Madrasah
14 years Old
Down Syndrome
Younis was very nervous. "No"! He said to his mother. I noticed his bag and started to draw the shapes I seen. "Your turn", I said.
The next day I asked him to wave goodbye to his mom. He was so eager, and I wasn't prepared for how willing he was to learn more than I had expected to teach.
On collection his mother was overwhelmed with joy. "I would be happy even if you could teach him how to say Alif alone", she said, "But now look, I only open my mouth and he can recognise a whole line mashallah"
All in a couple of hours!
